• Hi, I bit the bullet and upgraded from 1.5 to 2.0 today, but now some pages don’t load properly. You can see the problem if you go to https://www.surrealroad.com/digital/ and try any of the pages labelled “digital intermediate…” (or any of its subpages)
What happens is that “Error 404 – Not Found” is displayed where the actual content should be.
I’m not using .htaccess (nor was I for WP 1.5), so the custom structure I’m using is:
    /index.php/%year%/%postname%/
which seems to work for posts but not all the pages

After reading dozens more posts on this subject, I tried various things. So far, I have found only one fix: if I manually change the post slug to something completely different then it works.
For instance, if I change from
    “digital-intermediate-glossary”
    to
    “digital-intermediates-glossary”
then it is still broken, but if I change it to
    “glossary”
    it works.
Is some sort of truncation happening somewhere?
Anyway, for now I have a temporary fix, but I don’t want to leave it this way, because of external links/search engine indexes.
Can anyone shed some more light on this?

Well- looks like I have the solution– downgrading to 1.5
