Page Password Protection Not Working

  • I’ve password protected a page but it is not working. When the user visits, it shows the password request screen, but that screen just continues to refresh once the correct password is entered and never gives access to the page. I’ve deactivated plugins to try to fix the problem, but this didn’t resolve the issue.

  • Are you using a page template or something to create the password protection? Do you have the php code of that template?

    I’m not using anything special to password protect it–just the protection option on the post dashboard.
