Page Password does not protect Podpress

  • I’m using Podpress and I have audio files on two of my Pages on wordpress. I want to use the ‘Page Password’. This works except it asks you for the password to see the page but you can still access the audio player without the password.

    How can I include the audio player in the page so that the page password will protect it as well?

  • I can confirm this bug using WP 2.3.1 and podpress 8.7. The release notes claim that it is fixed but I still have the same problem.

    A bit late to post this – but for anyone else who might be using an older version of this plugin – upgrading to 8.7 and preferrably the latest and greatest (currently 8.8) does indeed fix this bug. I had a file from the old version which was conflicting with 8.7 when I reported that the behavior was not fixed. Apologies.
