• I am using the WordPress 2010 theme. This is my first time using WordPress and my problem is that my page order is all messed up. I ordered my home page 0 and the other pages 1, 2, 3, etc in the order that I want them. The pages are showing up in the opposite order than what I want.

My other problem is that all the pages are listed together when I only want one page per tab. If you go to my site, https://www.buyvintagecomics.com, you will see what I mean. On the home page, the Bronze Era page is shown first and you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page to see the home page. How do I fix this? Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it!

  • Hi there,

I see what you mean. What do you have set as the front page? Go to ‘Setting’s and ‘Reading’ – which option do you have selected for ‘Front page shows’?

What do you want to show on the home page – is it your ‘home’ page? If so, the setting in ‘front page shows’ should be ‘static page’ and then select ‘home’ from the list.

Thanks I was able to get only one post per page but I am still having problems with the home page, everything else is ok. I tried to set my home page to home, but wordpress said “warning these pages should not be the same”. I still don’t understand how to get the home page text on the home page if it won’t let me set the home page to home? I tried to set up a separate page with my home page text and point it to home but then that page showed up in my info bar and i couldnt figure out how to get rid of it…..wordpress, you are very frustrating!

I appreciate your help and any more advice on my current issue would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks
