Page Order Not Working

  • I have tried to order my pages the way I want with no success. I have tried on two different themes, suffusion and 2010. I used manual system entering numbers for how I wanted them ordered but it did not work. In fact I pages that have a parent but the child pages do not show and there is no drop down menu.

    Because I could not get page order to work I added the plug in simple page ordering. When I had the page menu open and used it, it showed them in the right place. But when I went to my site they were not changed. So I uninstalled it.

    Then I tried My Page Order and the same result.

    Any hints suggestions appreciated.

  • Have you tried…

    ordering it by making a custom menu

    and then assigning the custom menu where it should be under ‘menu location’ where the menu stuff are?

    (that’s the most common mistake)
