Page order in Sidebar

    I can’t seem to alter the page order in the sidebar using the pages “Page Order”, not matter what I set everything stays in alphabetical order.

    Is this because the pages have “child” pages or something?

  • When you want to get your own order there is a two-step process:
    1. Modify your wp_list_pages template tag in the sidebar to have the “menu_order” parameter
    2. Go into your admin panel and edit all your Pages: in the right menu there is an option “Page Order” – put the numbers for the order you want.
