• Hi – If anyone could suggest a fix to this I’d explode with joy.

In a nutshell, my page order is glytched. I’ve got three pages: ‘News’, ‘About’ and ‘Contact’. And that’s the order I’d like them listed in the sidebar. Obviously I’ve set the page order function to reflect that order, but they refuse to behave as they’re supposed to.

I think it’s probably the stylesheet that’s caused it, although i don’t know squat about coding, so maybe it could be the sidebar.

Anyway, any pointers would be much appreciated. The site can be seen here.

And that’s the order they’re currently listed in.

Should you find a help, please let me know; I have several pages and they refuse to move. They go up in the order I created them, despite having changed their order under “page attributes.”

    Thanks!

An easier way and one that doesn’t risk messing with the coding:

Change the edit date of your pages. If your theme is coded like mine, it adds pages according to date, then depth. Argh. That means you have to have planned it meticulously before starting out. Who needs that nonsense!

To keep it simple, I figure my hard-wired “home” page is 1, so I’ve started using the publishing dates for the pages I’ve created as: July 2, July 3, July 4, etc. This puts the pages in order date-wise and shows me on the “pages” page which order they’re in, too.

    Yaaay for easy work-arounds!
