A site produced with WordPress has pages and area of posts (which I called “blog page”). Does the plugin create the user’s private page in page format or in the posting area?

Neither, but there’s a relation. Posts and pages are actually custom post types added to WordPress. The page we create is a custom post type as well.
You can access it by going to Users and then hovering over an user, a link to his Private Page will show.

Is it not possible to have multiple posts in a row, such as a blog, with categories, inside the users page?

You can insert shortcodes on the private page, so if you create yourself such a shortcode, then yes, you will be able to do that.

Take a look at these plugins:

They seem to allow you to list posts using a shortcode. You can use the shortcode from these plugins directly in the Default Content box of Client Portal.
