    Hello,

The recent update brought the Page Optimize Localization back, I’m not sure if only on my environment, but it was turned on automatically, and it gave us a big financial loss.

Not sure why, but the localization broke the Google Adsense script, which was included in the localization, as you can see in the follow screenshot:

    https://www.revistabula.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/WhatsApp-Image-2022-02-25-at-11.16.56.jpeg

This error alone brought or Adsense earnings close to zero for the past 2 days, making us to loose around $600 in earnings.

This issue also broke our login page, which uses Google Invisible reCaptcha as protection, making it impossible to login.

Once we disabled the feature, everything went back to normal. It’s really a shame how a Litespeed update can break our sites and this is becoming a nightmare, in almost every major update we have to go over in Litespeed settings to adjust it so it doesn’t disturb our Pagespeed score.

I advise everyone to turn this option off as it clearly is breaking external site scripts.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

    apologize for the inconvenience.

the option was default off as you can see here:
    https://github.com/litespeedtech/lscache_wp/blob/f5a26e3fa0f65b9dd43b633661d54277c1b5274f/data/const.default.ini#L457

the case is more likely , back the time when the localization was still there and enabled , after it dropped later on , the option no longer matters , but as this re-introduce , the previous remanent setting takes its place again.

    best regards,

Still doesn’t make sense to me. If you disable the feature, you can’t re-enable it unnoticed expecting that everyone which was using will still keep using it automatically, and hoping that everything would work flawlessly… In the same options page there is an Always-On alert which reads:

Please test thoroughly when enabling any option in this list. After changing Minify/Combine settings, please do a Purge All action.

?t’s interesting how the plugin’s developers went against their own rule. And the solution couldn’t be simpler… you could either had removed the option from DB when deactivated it or created a new option name for it when re-enabling it, but unfortunately you choosed the easier and irresponsible path, which caused a considerable loss to a payer customer.
