Page not moving down to the slideshow part.

On all my pages I display the thumbnails and then allow people to click on the thumbnails to see the slideshow, the problem is (and always has been) that when someone clicks on a thumbnail to start the slideshow the page is refreshed and the person is brought back to the top of the page and not to the part of the page where the slideshow is.
The following page is a perfect example as it had loads of text before the pictures.
