Page not found with suffusion theme, other theme ok

    I’ve used Suffusion on one site for several years. I like it very much.
    Starting a new site hosted with iPage. WP installed fine. Created pages with default theme and worked. Installed Suffusion theme and activated it. When I try to access the WP site I get a Page Not Found error. When I switch back to the other theme the pages appear as expected. Any ideas what the problem and solution might be?

  • Can you now replicate the problem using the default 2012 theme with all plugins deactivated?

    I found the problem…the problem is me, I’m slow.

    I’m using WP to display a static page for the first page. Somehow the Home page was deleted and I had selected Home to be the front page. WP & Suffusion were doing what I told them to do… but there was nothing to display. The error was correct – page not found! I recreated the page, now all is well.
