Page not found with mywebsite.com/portfolio/xxx url type

    Hello,

    I have created a page called mywebsite.com/portfolio on which I embedded my portfolio.
    I worked fine but whenever I create a child page mywebsite.com/portfolio/xxxx, I get a “Page not found” response.

    I tried to create test pages with random parent pages like mywebsite.com/about/xxxx and it worked fine.

    I also tried to deactivate the Visual Portfolio plugin, and once deactivated, then the page mywebsite.com/portfolio/xxxx appears correctly.

    I guess the plugin won’t allow any child pages from a protfolio page but I don’t understand why and I would really like to know how to fix this issue.

    (Saving the permalinks settings again doesn’t do anything)

    Hi.

    Child pages are reserved for portfolio single posts. I don’t think we can somehow resolve it, but you may try to change portfolio slug in Admin Menu > Visual Portfolio > Settings > Portfolio slug.
