Page not found with forced SSL

hy,
it is not intended to do any redirects, as you can read in the documentation. you should set up your server/environment so that redirection from http to https occurs before any other redirects, than everything will work fine (e.g. with htaccess on apache server)

when looking at your browsers dev-tools you see that a wordpress-redirect happens before that here and leads to the page with 404 error.

please understand that we can’t help you out with server-side-stuff.

Thanks for the response Matt, we will see what we can do on our server.

Another issue we have is the Captcha. Do you know of a captcha plugin that works with many mapped domains? Otherwise we have to specify each one on google captcha?
