At the suggestion of my Web host (Hostek) IT people I downloaded your plugin to check my site. I am using the Customizr theme and have a child theme in place.

I have tried a number of times over a number of days to run your plugin on both the active child theme and the parent theme. Also tested the “Twenty Fifteen” theme. Each time I get a “page not found” error. The IT people did not have an answer and suggested I contact you.

The Theme Check plugin DID work on the “Default” WP theme.

    Please advise. Thanks,
    Sheryl

The Theme Check plugin is not a tool for end-users to use on live sites. It’s a development tool meant for running on your test sites instead, and to be used to help you develop a theme. It’s also run by the theme-review team to check for problems.

The plugin will probably not run on low-end hosting accounts, or shared hosting. It needs more memory than that, and also should only be used in a development environment. Again, it’s really not an end-users tool.
