Page not found on multisite

  • I have created a new site under subdirectory option with WordPress 3.0.1. and the new site appeared under “my site”, but when I clicked the dashboard, it shows “page not found”. https://transforminternetmarketing.com/bestmortgage/wp-admin/

    I have searched the forum for related topics and tried the answers provided, ie changing the htaccess a couple of times but the same thing happens…

    Could someone please help me out with live chat as I am totally new to wp and already spent a lot of time tried to solve the problem.

  • Talk to your webhost support. tell them you made changes to the htaccess file but it;s not working.

    Yes, I did speak to my webhost namely hostgagor support yesterday before I posted the request for help. They told me to reinstall again…but I have done it once and the result is the same.

    Meanwhile I will try to talk to them again and would appreciate your further advise.

    Is this a mapped domain? A separate WP install or another domain in the same network? (it’s doing freaky things when I look)
