I can’t find anything answered that quite meets this issue.

On attempting to submit a comment to a post the user is given a page not found error. Ive tried several different themes, deactivated all plugins(only about 4 used) and tried different devices & browsers with the same result.

I can’t see anything in my setup that would result in this. I don’t know how long it might have been happening as I haven’t blogged in a while. I am just trying to revive it and it would be nice to have the comments available.

site is https://www.scrollchristianbook.com if anyone would like to test it. I’d certainly like some ideas of what to look for.

When I tried to post a comment, it tried to post to the address “https://www.scrollchristianbook.com/%5ehttp:/50.115.191.11/”

This is not the correct URL to post to.

Have you changed your Site URL in the settings?

I think you’ll find that the IP address in the post address is your IP address. When I post, it does the same thing but returns my IP. I don’t know enough to know if that is normal behavior for this error message or if some setting in WordPress is messed up. Just trying to see what might be the problem so I can fix it! <g>

Site URL in settings is https://scrollchristianbook.com.

I wrote in error. Site URL is https://www.thescroll.org

I can’t see anything strange in the db either. It just isn’t posting to the correct url.
