After upgrading to wordpress 4.5 all my pages throw the same error “Oops, this page could not be found!”
I am running avada theme on my wordpress site.

  • Try resaving your permalink settings. I’ve had the same error before and that fixed it.

Thank you so much. It solved the problem.

I’m also having trouble after upgrading to 4.5 this morning. The pages that don’t appear are in the 2nd installation in a subdirectory and running the Woocommerce Storefront theme. Can get to main page on this

Tried resaving permalink settings as was mentioned before. Tried flushing the browser cache, SG cache plugin’s cache (in both installs) and cache in SuperCacher on my host. no go. Tried disabling any caching plugins (both installs). no go. Tried using a different theme. no go.

    help?!? Thanks!

Found that if I change the permalink settings to plain, instead of postname – I can access them. Still doesn’t help me much – but it may help trouble shoot.

    Update:
Also tried switching to 2015 theme. Still no luck with the preferred permalink structure.

Update – since my board needs registrations to come through, I’ve converted everything over to the plain permalink structure. But will be curious to see any answers – as I’d like to convert them back at some point.

Same issue here, and permalinks did NOT resolve the issue, unfortunately. Of course, my client just launched their summer registration yesterday and major campaigning started TODAY.
