    Hi;
I use a shortcode to show videos on my front page. It works fine.

For the cell phone I add the limit=3 option and that works fine. However it shows pagination underneath the third video (because I have more than 3).

When I click on a page number I get this error:

lodely.com/page/2 not found or does not exist.

I tried flushing permalinks but that didn’t work.

I can’t use a shortcode in a page because then I won’t be able to show the
videos on the front page without the user having to click a link first.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Lode

Looks like you have disabled the pagination now by increasing the “limit” value. Please submit a ticket here https://plugins360.com/support/ with this post link. So, we can request a few more details (private) from your website and further investigate the issue.

I see we have finally replied your ticket on NOV 22, 2020 with a fix. I’m afraid it has not reached your Inbox. Please check your SPAM folder. Anyhow, I’m attaching the same reply again here below,

    Hello Lode,

Thanks for your access details and it helped me to identify the issue.

I see your home page https://lodely.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php displays the “Latest Posts” and you should be adding our videos to the home page by customizing your home page template file. Seeing our videos shortcode in the home page, I thought the home page is a static page and this is the reason I asked for the access. Sorry, I should have asked this already to avoid unnecessary emails.

There is a known issue with the pagination parameter when used in posts page. The reason is the posts can be paginated themselves and also depends on the “page/paged” parameter from the URL. So, this creates a conflict.

Instead, try using a static page for your Home page. This should solve your problem.

Alternatively, you can use our slider template https://demo.plugins360.com/slider/

Also, our 2.4.5 version will introduce an AJAX based pagination system that should solve the pagination issues on the POSTS page.

    Hope this helped you!

    Best Regards,
    San Rosh
