  • Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

When you are unable to open the feed this could be caused by a couple of things:

    • The feed was not done processing yet, does the status show ‘ready’?
    • You are running a firewall/caching plugin that prevents the plugin from creating the product feed. Could this be the case?

    yes, it shows ready

i have caching plugin but i have google feed with no issue?

    Hi,

Can you share the plugin debug.log with us? It will help us understand how you have configured your feed.

Instructions on how to retrieve the debug.log can be found here:

    Hi,

Thanks for sending over the debug.log.

When I try opening the link to your CSV file all works fine and the browser starts downloading the feed?

i have been advise by kogan team that the feed has validation error

“Thank you for the update. I can now see the file, however I am still getting a validation error.

I have checked the feed that you provided. We believe the issue is with the information provided under the <products version=”1.0″ standalone=”yes”> before the first <product> </product> tag. We need to remove the information here. I beleive this is being written by the WooCommerce plugin that you are using.

Could you please remove the <title>, <link> and <description> tag? This should fix the issue. The <datetime> tag does not need to be removed. I have attached a screenshot below for reference.

Can you please let me know once this is updated and I will check the link again and see if the feed is validated.”

    Hi,

Last URL you send me was that of a CSV file that doesn’t have these kind of headers. You are probably referring to another feed you created?

i only created one feed, is that anyway to view th feed onione rather than download it? there is no headed in downloaded file?

    Hi Louis,

You mentioned you created a CSV feed, however the example you provided me is that of an XML format feed. XML feeds have the headers you are referring to, CSV do not.

With regards to your request to remove the XML headers from the feed, that unfortunately won’t be possible.

    Hi,

Assuming the issue at hand has been resolved and our support is no longer required I am going to close this topic for now for housekeeping reasons.

Do not hesitate to reach out to us again whenever you need our help.
