    Hi,

Thank you for your Plugin. I’m using it on one of my websites.
But I’m unable to use the Page Locator.
    What I do:
    1. Install GeoMyWP
    2. Activate “Post Locator” (“Single Locator” is greyed out, even as it is described as free?)
    3. Create a new Post and define a location on the Map GeoMyWP adds to the Post-Page settings4. Create a form, activate the shortcode there, and add
[gmw map="1"] to the page where I defined the location.
My hope is that the defined location is displayed on the page. However the default location is used on the map.
So, the missing link is to use the lat/lon from the page settings on the map / geomywp-post.
    What I been doing wrong?

    Thank you
    Bernhard

    Hello Bernhard,

I apologize for missing your support ticket.

The Single Location core extension is greyed out but is enabled by default. So if you are looking to display a map showing the location of a specific post, you need to use the shortcode [gmw_single_location] in the content area of the specific post ( The shortcode [gmw map=”1″] is meant to display the location of multiple posts ).

Let me know if this helps or if you have additional questions.

    Hi Eyal,

Thank you! gmw_single_location is the shortcode I searched for, and I was too blind to find it.
    One more question, sorry:
    The 1st map at
    https://www.reiseliste.de/ozeanien/neuseeland-sued/nz-milford-sound-3-5-2007/
    is done with gmw_single_location.
It shows a header and a footer. Can I switch off these in any way?

    Thank you,
    Bernhard

    You are welcome, Bernhard.

Yes, you can use the “elements” shortcode attribute ( see this page ) to define which elements to display.

To display only the map you can do something like:

    [gmw_single_location elements="map"]

Let me know if this helps.

Yes, that helps. Now I’m happy using your plugin at https://www.reiseliste.de/
