Page loading twice

    I think this has been an issue (possibly since the last update?) but I’ve only really noticed it now as I’ve been off work so doing a lot on the site. Every time I refresh a page on the site, it appears quickly, vanishes and then reappears a couple of second later.

    I did the usual – disabled caching (local and CloudFlare), and then disabled all plug-ins, enabling them one by one. I can confirm that the issue only occurs when this plug-in is active. I’ve tested further and it’s not a “clash” with any other plug-ins.

    I have also just changed the theme to “Twenty Twenty” and the issue still occurs, so it’s not a clash with our regular theme.

    Has anyone else noticed this issue?

    In order to investigate, I need the steps to replicate the issue on default WordPress install (so no other plugins, using the default theme, etc). That way I can follow along, repeat the problem, and try to resolve asap. Thank you

    Hey Jeff – sorry for not responding. I just didn’t have time to diagnose any further so I removed the plug-in and put the code manually into a child version of my template. Problem solved.

    Incidentally, in case it helps, I’m fairly certain the issue began when I switched to gtag.js from the old system.
