• Hi
Without the plugin and script we have approx 1.5 second page loads, sometimes less.
With the plugin and script enabled we have 3 seconds and above…

    Any advice on optimising this?

We are using Cache Enabler and Fast Velocity Minify plugins also…

    Thanks for the great products.

    Hello,

The plugin itself don’t add page load time but the mtc.js script is really huge (131Ko) and it add loading time on each page.

The only optimisation available through the plugin can enable is deffering that script loading in the footer. You can go in the WPMautic settings panel, then in “Tracking script location”, choose “Embedded within the wp_footer action.”.

After saving, the script will be loaded in the page footer instead of the header so it won’t block page rendering for users.

    Hope this help ??

    Ok thanks a lot.
It has improved the page speed score but not the actual speed…

    Thanks for replying so quick!

    You’re welcome ??

Hey man, if this is still relevant, here’s a great article I’ve found about reducing the size of the tracking pixel which will improve the loading speed.
However, it will require you to give up on certain features and of course, any change like that is prone to errors in the future if there are any changes made to the way things are tracked in Mautic.
So as usual, users beware ??

that’s awesome @sergiybond, thanks a lot. I don’t use the gated videos either so this is an easy workaround.
