• After the NextGen update to 2.0, my gallery went to Hades. Completely redid it and got it looking the way it should, but…
only the first page. Hit “2” (or any other page number) or the “next” arrow and you get this message:
This is the default gallery type template, located in:
    …\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\nextgen-gallery\products\photocrati_nextgen\modules\nextgen_gallery_display\templates\index.php.

If you’re seeing this, it’s because the gallery type you selected has not provided a template of it’s own.

Fortunately this site is in development and no one else can see it – and I haven’t upgraded my other sites yet – and won’t. Anyone know the solution? I’m not sure which template it’s looking for or why it isn’t where it belongs. It took forever to figure out all the other ticks that went wrong – appreciate any ideas you may have.

  • I am also having this error. I posted about it a few days ago. Looking for a solution & hoping it’s fixed in the next update. Using pagination all pages with the exception of the first have this error.

Have to admit I gave up on 2.0 – way too many errors and problems. Rolled back and won’t update any of my sites. Don’t like the new framework.
