Page links to its own page

  • Hello,

    I tried doing internal linking with this plugin. I created 2 posts link to the same keywords. For example, “veterinarian”

    Now, what I am expecting here is that they would link to each other.

    When I check one of the posts, specifically, the first one… It did link a keyword but it is linking to the same page as it was generated.

    Is this a bug or what? Keep in mind I have setup the settings to not link more than 1 same link in a post/page

    Hello. Thank you for using Auto Affiliate Links.

    As far as I know, it should not add a link to the same page where it is generated. I will check it on my test servers to see what is happening.

    Please also send me a link to the page where this is happening.

    I already removed the links and disabled the plugin for now until it’s already fixed

    Hello. I have tested and it is working on our test servers – no links are added that point to the same page where they are generated.

    The problem might be specific to your configuration. This is why I asked for a links where the problem appears. So I can see what is happening.

    I need to be able to replicate the issue so I can provide a fix.
