    After upgrading to WP 2.1, page links are showing up on my archives page where only post links should be (and were before). Would anyone know why exactly that is and if there’s a (simple) way to keep my pages off my archives page? I also posted this on the plugin author’s site but he doesn’t seem to be replying to comments very frequently. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

    I am now convinced something has been changed in how WP handles Pages – just don’t know whether they will say it’s a bug or a feature ??

    Thanks for your quick reply. I guess I’ll just wait until they “fix” it (assuming it’s a bug).

    If you follow the other thread – actually it is not a bug: just change in how WP handles Pages (and how they are marked in the DB). Most likely, the plugin author will have to update the plugin.

    If you are brave enough, you can try this:
    open the plugin file and find the two locations of this:
    post_status='publish'
    and change it to
    post_type='post'

    It worked on my testbed – although no guarantee…

    Awesome, that worked. Thanks so much!
