Page links not working??

I wanted to reply to this post instead of making a new one because I’m having a very similar issue. I have not upgraded to version 3.0 yet, but will be soon. On my homepage, the links to pages don’t work properly – they simply link to the main page.

Btw, the site is https://golfclubreviewz.com

However, if I manually enter in the full url to a page, i.e. https://golfclubreviewz.com/about – the page shows up. On that page, the link to that same page works. What I mean is that if you hover over the page link to “About” it is correctly linked. This is pretty clear if you go to the site.

It seems like this is some sort of issue with index.php. I’ve looked through the forum for help, but can’t seem to find the correct solution. My permalink structure is set to /%post_id%/%postname%/. I don’t think it’s causing a problem.

I’m having the same issue. None of my permalinks to articles work anymore since upgrading to 3. We need a fix for this ASAP!

Just did a test and

<?php the_permalink() ?>

is returning null.

Same thing happening on my site. Menu bar is still working at the moment but when I try to read individual posts it just goes back to the main blog page.

I haven’t upgraded to 3.0 either.

I found the solution to my problem. I turned off my Quick Page/Post Redirect plugin and everything seems to be ok now.

Ooop, nope. that doesn’t fix it. Especially if the nav links are going outside of the current URL. For instance…before I upgraded to 3.0 I had quick links that went directly to my shop in the nav bar under the SHOP button. Now they don’t work and the whole nav bar is not functioning.

I had to put links within the page content because the direct links don’t work. Plus the nav links don’t even work within my own blog. ughhh.
