    Hi:

I just setup multisite on my domain and now I cannot get any of my pages to display when I click on them I get the following message.

    Not Found

The requested URL /register/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Can someone please help me with this?

    Thanks,
    Shinshuri

    Resave your permalinks.

Also are these posts or pages?

    Hi Ipstenu:

What do you mean by Resave your permalinks?

This issue is affecting all my pages and and posts. BTW, I am using the sub-domain format.

Go to your permalinks settings, click the ‘save’ button.

Sometimes you have to regenerate the permalink rules in your db ??

    Hi Ipstenu:

I tried resaving my permalinks, but nothing is happening. Can you provide another alternative to help me fix this issue?

    Thanks,
    Shinshuri

    Hi Ipstenu:

I realized that when I use the default setting for permalinks everything works fine. When I do it for any other option the pages and post links get broken.

I tried this on the multisite setup and on the standard wordpress site.

    This is the default setting

I realized that when I use the default setting for permalinks everything works fine.

That’s a major issue as it will conflict with WordPress Multisite’s functions.

Go ask your host if mod_rewrite is turned on, and if allowoverride is set to ALL.

Ok, Will do. I’ll keep you posted on what I discover. Stay tuned.

    Hi Ipstenu:

I checked with my ISP and they had to add the wildcard for my domain. All is well now. Thank you for your help and support. You rock!
