Page Layout very messed up

Here to answer my own question….left it on the site in case it helps others.

Solution: The formatting of the built page is influenced by the format of the text of the shortcode. For example, when creating a page – if you notice in the upper-left of your compose window – there is a dropdown box that changes the text format to things like ‘preformatted’, ‘paragraph’, ‘header 1’. If you make the shortcode one of those format – it changes the entire display of the generated Sermon List.

In my case, it was setup as ‘pre-formatted’ (so it looked bad)….I changed it back to ‘paragraph’ and the result was what it should be.

Yep that fixed my issue too!!

If you copy the shortcode from his website then it will copy it in the the format of “Pre” which adds some funky formatting.

This fixed it and now I don’t have to do any crazy theming to the page!
