Page jumps when pop-ups are opened and closed

Any idea why the page jumps down a bit when an event pop-up is opened in grid view, then jumps up by quite a lot more when the pop-up is closed?
The calendar is at https://www.mgabingdon.org.uk/events/events-calendar/ and the jumping occurs in Firefox, Chrome, IE, Safari and Opera.
Great calendar, by the way, and I did buy the use guide!
