• I would like to display a grid which links to specific different pages (all under the parent page) as a visual menu. I would also like to be able to filter the grid by either day of the week and/or type (e.g. children, social).
I am using the “Category to Pages WUD” plugin and I have tagged the pages with the taxonomy I would like to filter by but I have not been able to find a plug in or theme which gives me the ability to get any further.
This website is early in development and has not yet gone live with the domain. I could change the theme as long as it is still responsive and I am happy to add any plug ins as long as they are GDPR compliant. I have never used portfolio before but if that is a way to do it I could learn.
Any ideas on how I generate the linkable grid which can be filtered?
    Thanks

It could just be me but what exactly are you trying to achieve? A portfolio or a page of links?

Are you able to share an example of what you are looking to do?

It is a church website. Each group, event, activity has a page. I need an easy way to navigate through them. The website needs to be accessible to people with additional needs so I am trying to use picture navigation where possible.

There are several ways to display blog posts as a grid with pictures or display portfolios as a grid with pictures where clicking on an image will take you to the page.

I know on several sites such as tech sites, there will be a list of all the e.g. phones and also filters at the top where you can say “only smart phones” or “only apple”.

I want to set up a grid of all the activities where someone can say “only children’s events” or where they could say “what happens on a Tuesday”.

I am new to WordPress and I want to know how I can create such a thing. I don’t really know what portfolio does and have not been able to achieve this with that but I mentioned it as others may know more about it as at least it can already display a grid so maybe it is easier to add filter in to there.
