Page Google Map plugin and other google map plugins not appearing in admin

I hope that somebody out there can help me with this problem. I have been designing a website on a Bitnami WordPress stack on my Mac running Mac OSX Maverick and everything worked perfectly just the way I wanted it.

I then uploaded the site to a LAMP host with a Cpanel control and now when I download and install Page Google Map plugin it doesn’t show up in the WP admin backend of the site. I tried to download another google map plugin and same problem.

Under the installed plugins it shows that the plugin is activated, but there is no place to setup the maps or get the short code and on the page it only shows the short code.

I think it has something to do with the java script being blocked or the link to google being blocked by the host, but I’m not sure.
