I’m having problems with my contact form 7’s page forwarding. When I’ve been testing the page forwarding has been a bit iffy. Sometime’s it seems like it’s working, others it’s not.

I’ve been using the following code in my additional settings area

    on_sent_ok: “location = ‘https://www.mypage.com/’;”

I’ve mostly been running into issues with IE, but with some of my other testers, they say they have been also having issues with firefox, but on my system firefox seems to work fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you need any further information let me know

If you could include the URL of the contact page, it would be helpful for someone who could advice.

Here’s a link to a page of mine that uses a very similar form. Just use “test” as the fill-ins so I know the incoming data should be ignored.

I still have yet to find a solution for this. The only thing I can seem to see what happens is that if I put a script into the “# Sender’s message was sent successfully” box, that the <script> tags are not turned into HTML (in IE), but rather read as just text. In Firefox / chrome this does not happen and you are forwarded onto the next page.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Same thing happening for me. I’ve tried on FF, Chrome and IE, and forms are not getting sent to the email address they have always gone to. Everything is updated. Email itself is working, as I can email directly to the same address, and it works. HELP!

I’m having the same problem. The links were forwarding fine up until a little while ago, and nothing was changed. DOUBLE HELP!!!

any chance you are hosted on Godaddy? I am, and while they are still working on whatever the problem is as I type this, I just got a “test” form in from my site, so my guess is they found the problem…when they call me back and explain, I’ll repost their explanation in case you are on godaddy.

    Hi DSwood

I’m not hosted on GoDaddy. I receive the emails however the redirect is no longer functioning, and nothing was changed.

UPDATE: The redirect was not functioning because of an error inside a seperate plugin called “Logo slider”. I used firebug to track errors in the console and it showed me an error with this plugin even though not enabled on the forms page even.. SOLVED!

@czimmerman – This is most likely due to a Javascript conflict with either your current WordPress theme or one of the other plugins you are using – see Contact Form 7 Email Issues – there is a link there that covers Javascript Conflicts.

Use Firebug or Chrome Dev Tools to examine Javascript conflicts in detail.

on_sent_ok is the generally the absolutely last thing that runs in CF7 so any interferring Javascript Conflict can stop this running.
