page format always changing, does not match my editing

    I have been trying to place page breaks where I want them in between paragraphs, and they seem to appear and disappear arbitrarily.

    Initially, when the page breaks did not appear on my blog the same as they did while editing in dashboard (in the visual tab,) I tried just pressing enter twice, leaving 2 page breaks between paragraphs. This did not work, so…

    Next, I used the HTML tab and added br tags as needed. This worked until I switched back over to the visual tab and made a change there, after which my work in HTML disappeared (page breaks disappeared on published blog.)

    I signed out and then back in (after saving.) And NOW… In my published blog, two page breaks/ line spaces appear between each paragraph (as if in response to my FIRST attempt at fixing this,) but there are NO line spaces between these paragraphs in my dashboard/editing screen! There are NO br tags in the HTML, those are still gone.

    So, the published version of my blog does not match what I have in dashboard – It does not match the “visual” or “text” (html) tabs that I can use for editing. It seems to change arbitrarily, I do not seem to have control over it, and I am so frustrated!

    Please help. Should I change themes?
