Page for posts under a particular category

Hi Everyone!

I’m VERY new to WordPress and I am using it, mainly as a CMS. I’m sorry if this is the stupidest question anyone has ever asked!

Despite the face that I am using WordPress as a CMS, I like the way that blog posts are listed on a page. I want a page on my website where all the blog posts in a particular category, e.g. “Sports” are shown. I don’t want any posts in sub categories shown, I would like a separate page for that!

I am sorry if this is blatantly obvious, I just do not know how to do this.
