    Hi!

I am building my website with Elementor Pro (Hello theme) and recently faced problems with editing themes and publishing them on needed pages. Elementor support team discovered that, there is some issue with domain. I have https://darzaviegli.lv (correct in WB settings as WB address and Site address), but in online webpage there appears additional characters /lv/ -> https://darzaviegli.lv/lv/

Hostinger support checked all data from its side and said that, there are no redirections found. They checked database, wp-config.php, htaccess, wp-admin and they are all good.

My guess about this /lv/ was that language plugin TranslatePress – Multilingual could add this as for LV language. After deactivating this plugin, additional /lv/ was removed for all pages <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>besides home page</span>. Now I don’t see Elementor theme problem as all pages are working properly, but home page is still broken.

I have also tried to deactivate all plugins besides Elementor. Nothing. All plugings are up to date.

Where could I find the cause of this additional /lv/ ? How can I solve problem?

Other pages in my web page:

    https://darzaviegli.lv/kontakti/

    https://darzaviegli.lv/par-mums/

    https://darzaviegli.lv/product-category/kompozicijas/

I have to mention that I copied my web page via Hostinger services from other site recently as I started to build my website on subdomain and then bought real domain. Website, elementor and wp-admin worked properly after migration. Everything seemed fine for a while.

Later all problems started when I wasn’t able to edit one of my templates in Elementor theme builder. I received error message that you have ‘fatal error with your page’ and later I received e-mail. “WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Elementor Pro.” And after that I was building new templates for custom post type and they didn’t show up online.

Sorry for such amount of info, but hopefully it helps to discover cause and find solution for my problem besides using older backup version.

    Thank you!

  • The homepage URL https://darzaviegli.lv/ works fine for me, there’s no redirect.

In fact, https://darzaviegli.lv/lv/ gives me a 404 (Not Found) error.

    Have you resolved this already?

    Hi!

I didn’t solve this, but after receiving your message I tried to open web page in incognito window and everything works fine. I am confused. In my regular chrome it is still adding this /lv/ and not opening page. Does it mean, that I have something in my browser?

I also opened my web page today via mobile and there was the same error. And I still have unneeded /lv/ there. And I can’t take it off (it automatically appears even if I delete in URL.

At least I know that this /lv/ part was ruining my pages and Elementor themes before I deactivated translate plugin as Elementor support discovered it during research.

What would be possible solution for this? (I am new to this, therefore not easy to solve)

    Thanks!
