Page edits not updating

Working on a new site had no problems until suddenly the edits I made to pages stopped updating. You can see the content in the edit screen but you look at the live site, there is nothing there. It is now across the board and I can’t edit any of my pages. One minute it was working, the next – nothing. Does anyone have any idea what this might be? Thanks.
