Page editor role – Cant assign pages to user

    Hi,

    I have created a role which is allowed to edit pages, edit published pages and upload media. The goal is to assign this role to users which is administrating their own page. There will be about 10 “local page admins and pages”.
    Now the issue is that I as an administrator I can not assign the specific user to the pages I have created…I even allowed ALL rights to this user role and still I can not set the user to page author.

    If the user has created the page everything works.
    If I change the role back to any standard WP role I can assign the page and everything works even when I change the role back.

    Why Can I not assign page author to a role created with the plugin?
