Page editor and related options not appearing

    Hi All,

    On Add new page the editor and other OOB options like Attributes options not appearing. It looks like there some restrictions are configured even I use admin credentials once I try to enter title and then clicking on “Save Draft” or “Submit for Review” its not saving and showing this message “Sorry, you are not allowed to edit this post.”

    suggestion:

    make a backup of your files and database

    in your screenshot I see 13 plugins need updating. perhaps there is plugin or theme conflict that is causing the issue.

    have you tried the Health Check plugin to do some troubleshooting?

    Thank you for reply.

    Yes I have full backup thanks for suggestion. Are you suggesting to use health check plugin? Is there any thing else I should try please suggest.

    if you have a full backup:

    -update currently installed plugins
    -install and activate health check plugin — use troubleshooting mode to try to narrow down the possible source of the problem
    -if can you access your WP Config file to set debug to “true” to see if any other messages show up

    Hi Lisa,

    I tried every suggestion but issue is still there, even new user creation also not work. not sure there is restriction is applied from back-end files/db!
