Page edit gets blank after 1.4.4 update

    As mentioned in the title, I can’t edit my pages because they are all white blank after the 1.4.4 update. I have to roll back to 1.4.3 to be able to edit them again. I already tried purging all caches but that didn’t help. Is there any suggestion? Thanks.

    Hey!

    Sorry to hear that! Did you update to WordPress 5.9?

    Also, what theme are you using? We had to remove one function from our themes, which was usually the cause of the blank white screen issue.

    Can you let me know what theme and version of it you’re using?

    Yes, I am on WP 5.9 and I am using Instorm theme (latest version).

    Hey,

    Are you getting any errors that you can share from the debug.log?

    That would help me understand why it’s not working for you. It does work with our latest themes, the 2019, and 2020 WordPress themes, but we haven’t tested with the one you mentioned.

    I just tried to update C9Blocks again to generate the log file for you, and now it is working normally again. Weird, don’t know what happened, but happy that the issue is gone. Fyi, I re-updated the plugin 2-3 times before this, and they were all the same, white blank screen ??

    Excellent!

    I’m guessing it was cached in the backend. Sometimes, you need a hard reload in the admin after an update to get things working.
