page edit adding <p> tag

  • Hello everyone.

    When adding a new page, even if I go directly to _html_ rather than _visual_, when I post, the editor encapsulates the content into <p></p> tags. For the layout of the page and perhaps the way the theme is written, it drops page contents down and makes it uneven with the top of the left sidebar.

    How can I get it to quit encapsulating everything in the <p></p> tags?

  • I’d recommend that you focus on finding out why the page content drops down because of a couple of paragraph tags.

    Highlight everything in Visual and click any Text Align button a couple of times. This should add all the ‘p’ tags, then remove them.
