Page doesn’t display Affiliate ads

I have created a homepage (no posts), created an article, and added two affiliate ads. When I preview the page, the two ads are there. When I ‘view’ the page, the ads are there. But when I go to the website, as a visitor would, neither ad is visable. I have deactivated all my plugins, figuring its one of them that’s causing the problem. Apparently not. The problem continues.

I have 3 WP websites up now; this is the only one I’m having the problem with. I’m using version 2.8.2.

Appreciate any suggestions.
