I’ve had this issue for a while and only on one of the WP blogs I run.

The way I notice it most is this:

    – Using Firefox
    – Create a post.
    – Check on the blog.
    – Click on the title to go to it’s individual page
    – browser goes blank and bottom left corner of browser says “transferring data from https://www.google.com”
    – If I click on the X and back arrow once I get my whole post but I need to click the X again to stop it attempting to reload teh page.

The way to recover is by exiting the browser and clearing the cache. However IE and Chrome can access the site with no issue so I’m presumming the fault is something to do with FF and a plugin maybe?

Anybody come across this and found a solution?

Sorry – didn’t think it was relevant as when it happens it’s only in my use of FF that it shows up.

As I said above, other browsers continue to work just fine.

    Anyway, churchtechy.com is the site.

I wasn’t able to replicate the problem in my copy of Firefox but you might want to try deactivating Google Analytics for WordPress and see if that helps.

To be honest I didn’t expect anybody else to be able to replicate it.

The issue doesn’t happen all the time but fairly frequently does after I’ve created a new post.

Will try the analytics approach, I guess I should have thought of that one ??

    It’s not GA.

I thought it was that because of the status update bottom left – in fact it was the item immediately preceeding GA that was cuasing the issue.

I use the Intense Debate plugin and it turns out that one of the addon modules for ID (I think it was the translate one) was causing my page to appear blank for me.

Simply removing the module for ID solved my problem and as I don’t think my blog is read by many non-English readers I don’t think it’s too big a loss. Hope this helps anytone else in a similar spot.
