page crashing while loading multiple rows

hi all,

i have some problems while composing a grid-like carousel for a page:

• the first occurs while loading in mobile size: i placed 1 column only in the settings, but it’s a 5-rows grid: android devices can’t load the page (chrome on iPhone does) giving “memory exceeding” error; even on PC if i resize chrome window to a mobile size the page crashes.
• the second problem is that if have post titles of different lenght, the grid do not adapt, but simply goes down placing a weird blank space between post tiles.

how to make the grid auto-set itself on mobile devices to just one item visible (and then switch them with arrows)? and how to define the Title and description lenght not by number of words, but by digits? and is it possible to make all the tiles of the same height, while the text has different lenghts, to keep the grid structured?
