• Hello again:)

    I would like to modify the page counter at the bottom of each page of the quiz.

    For example, is it possible to translate, for example, “1 out of 10” into “1 parmi 10” ?
    I found in the documentation the CSS variable qmn_page_counter_message but couldn’t figure out how to use it …

    In the same vein, how could I get this message hidden ? Or change its color / size ?

    I tried :

    .qmn_page_counter_message {
    color: #ff0000;
    }

    but this doesn’t change anything.

    Best regards,

    Adren.

  • Hi @adrenmaths,

    You need to use Loco Translate plugin to Translate hard coded strings like “Out of” in your quizzes.

    Do you want to hide or change this text color “1 out of 10” on your quizzes? If this is so, kindly share your quiz URL. So that I can help you with that.

    Kind regards,
    Kriti

    I found how to change the color (and, as a result, to hide it if I choose the same color as the background). I used :

    span.pages_count {
    color: #ffffff;
    }

    Now I installed the Loco Translate plugin but don’t know what to do … Do I have to manually change one of the .po files ?

    By the way, I have the same question regarding the RETAKE button.

    Do you know if the Loco Translate Plugin can help to replace “retake” with an other word ? And if so, how should I proceed ?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

    Kindly check out the following video on how to use the Loco Translate plugin with QSM https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Rmg0j6djFIMwReaczvp1-JPVNiv3lSsu/view?usp=sharing

    Let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Thank you very much, Kriti.

    It was indeed very simple.

    Now it works perfectly !

    Hi,
    I use Loco Translate to translate the email sent to the user with its results after the quiz. I use the variable %QUESTIONS_ANSWERS_EMAIL% in the email. In Loco Translate, some phrases like “Answer Provided:” or “Comments Entered:” are missing. I was able to edit “Correct Answer:” with Loco Translate but I don’t see the translation in the email.

    By the way, in the email, I see that the apostrophe is preceded by a backslash such as this example “Qu\’est-ce que le SEA ?”.

    Is there a way to modify the email template to add line breaks (with the variables) or coloring (correct/incorrect answers) for example?

    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards.

    Hi @atoupro,

    Loco Translate plugin doesn’t translates the email text. However, you can add the translated text in the Email tab. This way, users will see the translated strings like “Correct Answer” in the emails.

    Kind regards,
    Kriti

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

    I found on my own. In fact, we have access to the text of the variable %QUESTIONS_ANSWERS_EMAIL% in the ‘text’ tab (and not Email tab) of the quiz.

    However, you did not answer my other question > In the email, I see that the apostrophe is preceded by a backslash such as this example “Qu\’est-ce que le SEA ?”.

    Thanks in advanced.
    Best regards.

    Hi @atoupro,

    Can you share the quiz URL with me so that I can check the issue regarding apostrophe is preceded by a backslash?

    Kindly let me know.

    Regards,
    Kriti

    Hello,

    I can’t give you an URL but I found a solution => I replace the french apostrophe with the english apostrophe.

    However, I want to clarify for your information that the problem of the apostrophe is only in the questions. It works fine in the answers.

    Best regards.

    Hi @atoupro,

    Good to know that the English apostrophes are working. My sincere apologies but it is difficult to say without looking at the website’s code.

    Let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Regards,
    Kriti
