Page could not be found

I’ve created and published my first event and think I’ve done everything correct but even when I click preview I get the ‘This page could not be found!’ message. I have followed your permalink instructions. I added [event-list style=’grid’] to my Woocommerce shop page and in the front end I can see the event listed with all of the details and featured image but when I click on it to book it, I just get the page not found message. I’m obviously missing something basic. Suggestions please.
