    I am using the inFocus wordpress theme.
    This plugin is close to working perfectly for what I need. Two problems though:
    1) As I scroll down, the main content of the page is visible behind the sticky menu, so it looks sloppy.
    2) When I scroll back to the top, sticky remains and my preferred placement/design of the main menu disappear. I have screenshots, but I cannot see where to attach them. So, I’ll leave the plugin active even though it’s not ideal just yet.

    I’d love for my header (main) menu to just stick as-is with an opaque white background at the top, but if I can at least get those 2 issues resolved for now, I may be able to adjust with custom CSS if needed.

    Thanks!
    Jon

    Hi,

    We have the same issue I think. We can’t manage to get the button on the top over other elements. We are using divi theme, I don’t know if it’s an incompatibility with it or not.
    I’ve try to change the z-index value and activate debug mode but there is nothing in the console and z-index don’t solve my problem.
    The site I need help with is https://www.textinghouse.com

    @gatehealing It looks like you have disabled the plugin again. I can’t help if I can’t see the issue, but I assume the first item can be solved if you give the element a Z-index value (in the plugin’s settings) of 2 or higher.

    The other issue I can’t say, I would need to see that in action.

    @textinghouse Your issue can be fixed by adding the following CSS:

    .et_pb_section_sticky_mobile  .et_pb_row_1 {
        z-index: 10;
    }

    z-index: 10;
    }

    Hey mark @senff,

    Ug. I had disabled plugins to troubleshoot the issue and missed re-activating that one. It’s back on now.

    I tried just using custom CSS from an article that also suggests your plugin, but I couldn’t quite get an 100% wide opaque white bar with the menu items where they currently are (or slightly higher to avoid clipping the logo).

    I’ll be on and off my computer today, but I’ll leave the plugin activated now.

    Thanks for responding

    Hey @senff,
    I know it’s the Thanksgiving week so I’m guessing you may not get on here much so I’m going to deactivate the plugin since this tends to be a busy time for therapists, especially with all of the shootings, including here in central texas; so I need my site to look good.

    If you know when you’ll be on, let me know and I’ll activate it. Otherwise,I’ll probably wait till Friday to reactivate since most folks will be out shopping.

    Thanks
    Jon

    Hi @gatehealing — I’m sorry, I missed your message there. I’m around today, so if you want to activate the plugin again later today, I can have a look.

    Once you do, leave a message here and tag me in it, and I will be notified of it.

    Hey @senff

    No problem, holidays are crazy! I’ve activated it now.

    Once the element becomes sticky, there’s a brief moment where you see it twice. This is the problem I am having. I am using OceanWP and have set the menu to be Transparent. When I have this plugin install it works for as sticky. But when you scroll down just a little bit you see a white background. this is just briefly. then the rest of the way down the pages it is transparent like it is supposed to be.

    I checked your site but I still don’t see it active. Am I missing something?

    Odd? It’s active for me? When you first goto https://gatehealing.com, you’ll see the main menu at the top, the right side lined up wiht the right edge of the slider . .. . Then, when you scroll down, it moves over to the left and is superimposed on top of the content (and logo etc).

    Just reposting with you tagged–forgot you asked for that.

    I think we want each others problems! I don’t want it to be transparent since I can see content moving behind the menu–I want the opaque white background across the top for the sticky menu to live in. Ironic!

    I just noticed the tags field under this box. . . see that you put “page content is over the button”

    2 things:
    1) the page content moves behind the sticky menu
    2) if there is supposed to be a button (like the one under my slider), I’m not getting that either.
