• The FAQS, Local Stockists, and Contact Us pages on my website don’t display any content. They used to, but at some point the content has disappeared. It still shows if I try to edit the page, so it hasn’t been deleted, but I don’t know what’s caused it.

I have deactivated each plug-in one at a time to see if a plug-in update has caused it, but haven’t had any joy there.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

  • Hi @bluelinesports – try to enable debug mode, maybe that will provide some clues.

Also try to rename plugins folder and reload FAQ page, see if content shows up.
Maybe there’s a plugin which cause this display issue.

install health check plugin which can be used in troubleshooting mode to deactivate all plugins and theme
might help narrow down the source of the issue

try a change in theme to a default theme like twenty twenty.

The health check plugin didn’t identify any issues, but I changed to the Twenty Twenty theme and that does show the missing content, so there must be an issue with my current theme. Any ideas what could be causing it?

@magefix Debug mode has shown a few different things. I will list them because they don’t mean much to me.

PHP Warning: “continue” targeting switch is equivalent to “break”. Did you mean to use “continue 2”?

PHP Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in

PHP Notice: Trying to get property ‘ID’ of non-object in

There are multiple instances of the 1st and 3rd examples.

@bluelinesports – try to switch PHP version to ver. 5.6, maybe that would help.

@magefix I only have the option to switch to ver. 7.2 from 7.3

Thank you for all your help by the way!
