    Hi,
I have just created an ‘about’ page and wrote a bit of content.
When I click on the tab on the home page menu for it, it comes up with the message ‘this is a bit embarassing isn’t it?….’ as there is no content.
I’ve done the same for the other pages on the main menu and they are all showing up fine…

Any help would be wonderful – I am just getting started with www.remarpro.com but have been with wordpress.com for awhile…
    Heidi

Thanks juggledad… But I am not that WP savvy to even make out what to do from the screenshots…

I will go hunting for permalinks..but really I am going blind!
I have barely done anything to the pages, so I am wondering if maybe it’s something that’s changed from when I rolled my wordpress.com content over to www.remarpro.com..? :/

First, while logged in, find Settings (lower left in the dark gray column), then hover over that and look for Permalinks. Click on Permalinks.

Then find the “Save” button on the permalinks page, and click it twice. Yes, twice.

Now see if your page works?

    the page might have been saved with a basic permalink;

this is how I could access the ‘about’ page: https://thehealthycaterpillar.com/2093-2/

edit the page again, and edit the permalink below the page title…

    Thanks Susan…didn’t work.

I got onto what you said Michael and am just wondering what I need to edit the permalink to..does it need to be different to the link that you put in your message?

    Thanks again
    Heidi

Try this, edit your about page and
    1) change the title to ‘about2’
    2) under the title, change the permalink to ‘https://thehealthycaterpillar.com/about2’
    3) press teh update button
    4) check your menu to have it point to the about2 page
    5) test

if it works, set all those back to’about’ and test again. If it fails again, then you probably have a post with the title ‘about’ also and having a post and page with the same title can cause issues

Oh thanks juggledad. It worked ????????
