    Hi there,

We have been using the Super Page Cache for CloudFlare plugin, which has worked great for improving page loads times around the world.

However, neither the purge nor auto purge feature seems to be working with Cloudways Varnish. It only works when Varnish is disabled on Cloudways. i.e. page changes are not showing on the frontend – they only show when we disable the Varnish module from our server.

    Plugin Settings:

    • Varnish support = Yes
    • Hostname = localhost
    • Port = 8080 (we have also tried the default 6081)
    • HTTP method for single page cache purge = PURGE
    • HTTP method for whole page cache purge = PURGE
    • Cloudways Varnish = Yes
    • Automatically purge Varnish cache when the Cloudflare cache is purged = Yes

    Hoping you can help.

    Thanks,
    MJ

    Hi @maxwelljacobs,
First of all it is not recommended to have more than one page caching system in place for any website. When you are using this plugin, it is already doing page caching so adding another page caching layer using Varnish is generally not recommended. This will only lead to cache issues.

Can you please double check the port number being used for varnish from Cloudways team? Maybe they have changed the port number?
