Page can’t be found

Strange, what happens if you got your regular WordPress setting page and try to save changes?

Hi! Thanks for such a speedy response. It works fine on all other areas of WP. Do you think I should just delete the plugin and reinstall it?

I actually see your coming soon page with no problem, so it is saving. Logout or open you site in a chrome incognito window and you’ll see it works fine!

Hi, the page has been up for months, it’s just when I try to add/change content on the page I have an issue with the “page not found”. I’ve tried deactivating it and reactivating it, publishing changes to other pages or posts, but nothing seems to have any effect.

yeah that url looks normal, what are you changing, maybe the page is be blocked by some security layer on the host.

I checked with my host but they said it’s a plugin issue. Do you think deleting it and reinstalling would work? It worked fine until I updated the plugin earlier today.

Hmm, just not sure. Are you trying to deactivate it? If so just ftp in and delete it.

Hi again, I’ve tried to deactivate it, tried deleting it then re-adding it via WP and also tried the same via FTP, but when I add it again I’m getting the same issue.

You said it was working then stopped working? Nothing has changed in the plugin so has to be another plugin causing the issue or the host. I would disable all your other plugins and see if that works, if not then switch to the default theme, if you still have an issue then it’s an issue with the host.

Yes, it worked fine until I updated the Coming Soon plugin yesterday. I don’t have any other plugins installed and the theme is just WP 2017 – the standard WP theme. When I delete the Coming Soon plugin and readd it it remembers the content in the plugin. Is there a way I can delete all data and then try again? Really appreciate your help btw, so thank you!

Nothing changed in the plugin of any significance, I’m not at my office but ping me tomorrow and I’ll give you some more things to try.

Goto https://www.lorenzosrestaurant.co.uk/wp-admin/options.php , scroll down to the bottom of the page and click save, see if you get an error.
